Royal Enfield Unveils Goan Classic 350: A Perfect Blend of Retro Bobber Style and Modern Features

Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the much-awaited Goan Classic 350, ahead of its official launch on 23rd November 2024. This new offering from the iconic brand brings a fresh and unique look to the existing Classic 350 model, with a distinctive Bobber style and modern updates.

Goan Classic 350: Key Features and Details

The Goan Classic 350 is based on the popular Classic 350 platform but stands out with its bold, retro-inspired design. It boasts an ape-styled handlebar, bespoke graphics, and a chopped exhaust, giving it a raw, rugged look. The motorcycle also comes equipped with all-LED lighting, adding a touch of modernity to its classic appeal.

This model is the first to be built on the J-series platform, which brings improved performance and refined engineering. The Goan Classic 350 is expected to be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder engine as the Classic 350. This engine generates 20bhp and 27Nm of torque, offering a smooth and powerful ride. In terms of dimensions, the Goan Classic 350 mirrors the Classic 350’s specs, measuring 2130mm in length, 825mm in width, and 1200mm in height, with a wheelbase of approximately 1400mm.

New Features and Updates

Compared to the Classic 350, the Goan Classic 350 introduces several new features. These include adjustable levers and a gear position indicator, which enhance the riding experience. The bike also comes with tubeless spoke wheels and white-painted wheel rims, which further enhance its stylish, retro appearance.

The Goan Classic 350 will compete directly with rivals like the Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak. Its price is expected to be slightly higher than the current Classic 350, which ranges from Rs 1.93 lakh to Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Royal Enfield will announce the official price during its unveiling at Motoverse 2024 in Goa on 23rd November.

Design Highlights

Visually, the Goan Classic 350 is a feast for the eyes. It features a drop-shaped fuel tank, which adds to its classic design, along with a comfortable seat that flows towards the rear, providing both style and comfort. This motorcycle is designed to turn heads on the road while offering a smooth, enjoyable ride for enthusiasts.

Conclusion

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is a perfect blend of vintage Bobber style and modern innovation. With its new features, powerful engine, and retro aesthetic, it’s set to be a strong contender in the mid-range cruiser segment. Fans and enthusiasts will have to wait until the official launch on 23rd November 2024 for the full price details and further specifications.
