Kia India is on track to double its exports of completely knocked down (CKD) vehicles by 2030. The company has already exported one lakh CKD units since June 2020. Now, it plans to target new markets, particularly in the Middle East and Africa.
Expanding to New Regions
Kia India is focusing on expanding its exports to Middle Eastern and African markets. These regions offer significant growth potential, complementing the company’s established presence in Uzbekistan, Ecuador, and Vietnam. Kia aims to strengthen its footprint and increase export volumes.
2024 Export Target
For 2024, Kia India plans to export 38,000 CKD units. This goal aligns with the company’s broader vision for global expansion. To date, Kia has exported 3.67 lakh units, highlighting its growing role in international markets.
Government Support Driving Growth
Kia India credits government policies for much of its success. These policies have helped streamline manufacturing and export processes. As a result, India has become a key hub for automotive exports.
Looking Ahead to 2030
By 2030, Kia India plans to further expand its global reach. The company’s focus on innovation, quality, and new market growth will help it become a leader in CKD vehicle exports.
