Rana’s Future Projects
Breaking the silence on his acting plans, Rana recently shared updates during his popular talk show The Rana Daggubati Show. He revealed that he is working on three exciting films, though they are currently in the early stages of production.
Dream Project: Hiranyakashyap
Rana spoke about his much-anticipated dream project, Hiranyakashyap, which was announced a few years ago. He stated,
“This is a large-scale project inspired by Amar Chitra Katha stories. The script is ready, and pre-production has already started. Once we finalize the right director, the project will take off.”
Initially planned with director Gunasekhar, the movie will now feature a story crafted by Trivikram Srinivas.
Next Collaboration with Teja: Rakshasa Raju
Rana also teased his reunion with director Teja for the film Rakshasa Raju. Their previous collaboration, Nene Raju Nene Mantri, was a blockbuster hit, and Rana is keen to deliver another powerful performance. Speaking about this film, he said,
“We are planning something even bigger than Nene Raju Nene Mantri. The team is currently working on refining the script.”
A Film with Trivikram Srinivas
Rana confirmed that he is in discussions with Trivikram Srinivas for an exciting new project. However, he mentioned that this movie might take time before it goes into production.
Recent Works
Post-Virata Parvam, Rana appeared in a small cameo in Spy and played a villain in the Tamil film Vettaiyan. Meanwhile, he has been focusing on his talk show, which has been receiving tremendous appreciation from audiences.
With Hiranyakashyap, Rakshasa Raju, and his upcoming collaboration with Trivikram, Rana Daggubati is all set to make a grand comeback to the silver screen.
